The role of a credit analyst
Credit analysts are responsible for managing risk across a bank’s lending book. They work very closely with relationship bankers in evaluating, identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks in relation to new and existing lending transactions, with the ultimate aim being to ensure that customer activities remain fully supported within an acceptable risk framework.
