About us
Our Mission.
Through the Looking Glass is a charity built on a simple idea: you can find talent in every nook and cranny in this country, but the opportunity is not available everywhere.
"You can find talent in every nook and cranny in this country, but the opportunity is not available everywhere."
We have worked with state schools and sixth forms in London and the surrounding area, alongside over 40 partner organisations in the City, to give students the kind of access that usually depends on who you happen to know.
What we ask of students is curiosity, engagement and participation, and a willingness to make the most of the week.
We want to support students with entrepreneurial minds and real talent – you do not have to be a straight-A student – you need to demonstrate tenacity and potential. Through the Looking Glass is designed to enable you to see the world through a different lens. We want to inspire you to build a better future for yourself.
